Bucks Win Fourth Straight; Improve to 31-17
Antetokounmpo and Lillard Lead Bucks' Scoring
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points and 16 rebounds, and Damian Lillard scored 24 of his 31 points in the second half as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 119-111 on Friday night.
The Bucks have won four straight games and improved to 31-17 on the season. The Cavaliers have lost three of their last four games and are now 26-22.
Antetokounmpo was aggressive from the start, scoring 12 points in the first quarter. He finished the game shooting 14-of-22 from the field and 6-of-10 from the free throw line.
Lillard was quiet in the first half, scoring just 7 points. But he came alive in the second half, hitting 5-of-9 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range.
The Bucks led by 10 points at halftime, but the Cavaliers cut the lead to 5 points in the third quarter. The Bucks pushed the lead back to 10 points in the fourth quarter and held on for the win.
The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland, who had 25 points and 8 assists. Donovan Mitchell added 22 points and Jarrett Allen had 18 points and 14 rebounds.
The Bucks will host the New York Knicks on Sunday night. The Cavaliers will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
