In his second season, George averaged 12.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. He continued to improve in the following seasons, averaging 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in the 2013-14 season.

Pacers Move Forward Without George

In the summer of 2017, George requested a trade from the Pacers. The Pacers eventually traded George to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. The trade was a difficult decision for the Pacers, but they believed it was the best move for the team. The Pacers have since moved on from George, and they are now led by Oladipo and Sabonis.

Oladipo has emerged as a star for the Pacers, averaging 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game last season. Sabonis has also been a key contributor, averaging 11.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. The Pacers are now a young and up-and-coming team, and they are looking to make a playoff run this season.
