Bayer 04 Leverkusen U19 youth players receive call-ups for Germany U17 Euros qualifiers
Six talented youngsters from the Bundesliga club's academy have been selected to represent their country
Bayer 04 Leverkusen's U19 team has once again produced a crop of talented players who have been called up to represent Germany at the U17 Euros qualifiers. Six youth players have been selected for the squad, which will compete in the tournament in April.
The selected players are:
- Goalkeeper Lennart Grill
- Defenders Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Niklas Lomb
- Midfielders Kai Havertz and Ayman Azhil
- Striker Adrian Grbic
All six players have been in impressive form for Leverkusen's U19 team this season, and their call-ups to the Germany squad are a testament to their talent and potential. They will be hoping to help their country qualify for the U17 Euros finals, which will be held in Croatia later this year.
