Caitlin Gubbels has been promoted by Canada Pension

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has appointed Caitlin Gubbels to head the Global Private Equity group, replacing Mark Wiseman who left.

CPP Investments is one of the largest investors in the world.

Caitlin Gubbels has been promoted to Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Private Equity, and will join CPP Investment's Executive Committee, effective immediately. In this role, she will oversee CPP Investments' global private equity portfolio and lead the team responsible for managing the organization's private equity investments.

Gubbels joined CPP Investments in 2019 as Managing Director, Head of Direct Private Equity, where she was responsible for leading the organization's direct private equity investment activities globally. Prior to joining CPP Investments, Gubbels held senior positions at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Goldman Sachs.
