Noah Lyles Returning to Alexandria Sept. 22
Local Olympic Star to Host Youth Track Clinic
Alexandria City High School Stadium, 7 p.m.
Olympic medalist Noah Lyles will return to Alexandria on Sept. 22 to host a free youth track and field clinic at Alexandria City High School Stadium.
The clinic, which is open to children ages 6 to 18, will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will cover the basics of track and field, including running, jumping, and throwing.
Lyles, a native of Alexandria, is a two-time Olympic medalist, winning bronze in the 200 meters in 2016 and silver in the 200 meters and 4x100-meter relay in 2020.
In addition to his Olympic success, Lyles has also won multiple world championships medals, including gold in the 200 meters and 4x100-meter relay in 2019.
Lyles' clinic is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn from one of the best in the world.
